We sometimes feel very overwhelmed when thinking about the laundry list of things that need to be done so breaking down your day can be valuable in getting stuff done, feeling good while you are doing it, and then feeling good about what you have gotten done. When I say break down your day I mean for you to tackle the task at hand, right now and then mentally push everything else out until it is required of you. You can break it down to hour by hour or even minute by minute when you have to. When we break it down things feel more manageable and then the mountain becomes a mole hill. As you knock out each task repeat the mantra: I APPRECIATE ME! When we feel good we are motivated to do more so throwing some positive affirmations in can really keep us moving and feel more energized and intentional in what we are doing.
